About this deal

Aside from a brief dip into Technics in the early 80s, plus being the proud owner of a BMW R 1200 GSA set, I have pretty limited experience of dedicated Technic construction. If you're like me you needn't be put off because the build is simplicity in itself and Efferman's Vertical Stand will only take you a couple of hours to put together. No matter how much advance groundwork you have done, the fitting is a bit of a struggle so be prepared to accept the reality that some re-assembly of the UCS Millennium Falcon will be required. Having the instructions to hand at the end of the build will take the stress out of any final touch-ups. The LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 75192 Display Stand is a custom-made stand designed specifically for the LEGO Millennium Falcon 75192 set. It is a high-quality, clear acrylic stand that offers a safe and secure way to display your LEGO Millennium Falcon model.

Does this setup look cool or what?! Granted, you still need a lot of space, but it's mostly vertical space, which allows you to more easily place it somewhere on a cupboard or on a sidetable in the living room. I'm sure your partner (if applicable) will be psyched to have this bad boy in the living room. I know @Kitty (my wife) is! You have a number of options if you are ready to invest the time and money into building a display stand out of LEGO to display your LEGO. The premium acrylic add on contains embedded studs to firmly hold your Minifigures on the right hand side and LEGO® information plaque to the left of the ship. I won't grade this stand, but I will simply tell you that this stand receives two big thumbs up!! You get a quality stand with a cool minifig add-on.The stand is easy to assemble and comes with all the necessary hardware to securely attach the Millennium Falcon to the stand. It has a sleek, modern design that complements the LEGO model perfectly, with a sturdy base and clear support arms that hold the model securely in place.

Here you can see an image of the baseplate, with a very cool engraving of the Millennium Falcon. I like little details like these. Showcase and enhance your iconic LEGO® Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon with our bespoke display stand. It is possible to move the model on the stand, but you need to make sure to hold the two sides of the stand. The minifig stand also has some cool details. One of these details is the Episode designation on both sides. On the left there's Episode 4, 5 and 6, while the rights shows Episode 7 and 8. Another nice detail is the placement of the studs, slightly at an angle, resulting in the minifigs facing the center. The top of the angled stems have small hooks for added support, holding the Falcon firmly in place.

There are a number of tutorials, like the one below, available on Youtube to help if you want to have a virtual toolbox talk before you start. These are the two features that enhance the playability while keeping proper showcase/storage functionality.

The premium acrylic add on contains embedded studs to firmly hold your Minifigures and LEGO® information plaque in place in front of the vehicle. Okay, so both stands are very nice products, but what about the price?! Of course, as an owner of this great set you will probably be interested in a quality stand, but will it break the bank? Well, it doesn't...in my humble opinion. Angled at a 70 degree angle, you can display your LEGO® Millennium Falcon in tighter spaces whilst also being able to appreciate the wonderful details across the top of the ship. Assembling the stand is pretty straightforward, although you will need to apply some pressure to fit the parts together. This isn't a bad thing, since friction is all that keeps the stand together, so you don't want the parts to slide in and out easily. The amount of slope is lowered to 40 degrees to keep a better balance between aesthetics and storage functionality. The full dimension of both sets+stands is kept within 27cm(D) x 28cm (H) to be fit in most ordinary bookshelf. Previous ones are often too high and do not look naturally floating. Michael explains that when the first UCS Millennium Falcon (10179) was released in 2007 "was too expensive for me at his release" but when the recent incarnation came out he saved up and treated himself. After completing the build he realised "it is a huge thing and hard to display without a special acrylic box or table", so he decided that to put his Technic design and building skill to good use. Taddaaaa! Here's that piece of junk placed on the stand. I can recommend gettting some help with placing the model on the stand. You can do it all by yourself, but it's more convenient to lift the model, have your lovely assistant remove the landing gear struts and help you positioning the stand. For the Sets: Switch two 1x2 plates (Trans-clear) to another two landing gears wherever they are placed on the top of the stand.
