About this deal

Decide how many rounds on each different colored card that you will play, with the more rounds chosen, the longer the game. There are two different ways to play Pictureka, “ Round and Round” and “ Mish Mash.” Both versions are very similar, but one involves using the dice. Below I will take you through a step-by-step guide to each version. Round and Round Pictureka is an example of how board games designed for kids can be really beneficial in developing different skills. Whilst also being great fun too. Each choose any tile and put it in front of you. If there are 4 players or fewer, help yourself to 2 tiles each.

Read out your mission to the group, then roll the die. Whatever the number is shown on the dice, this is the number of items you will have to find.Play a card of that color (if you see an arrow, remember to switch or flip a tile before you play). Mish Mash: Set the number of cards you need to win higher or lower to make the game longer or shorter.

Whichever player manages to complete the assigned ‘mission’ first keeps that card, and the game continues to the left. Pictureka! by Hasbro Games is a fast-paced family party game perfect for younger children. Picture a crazy mash up of Dobble and Where’s Wally, where two or more players, aged 6+, scan nine tiles of zany artwork to find specific pictures or objects within those pictures and collect cards. The player, or team, with the most cards at the end of the game wins. The gameplay board itself comes split into 9, 3×3 tiles. Each tile has a random collection of images on both sides. The other image is an arrow that curves to the right. This means that a player flips the tile over to the other side. If you're first to find a picture that matches the mission, shout Pictureka! and point at it. You get to keep the card.

Play Round & Round

If you’ve ever played the card game pairs, then Pictureka is similar to that. Instead of locating two matching cards, you’re trying to spot crazy images of monsters and objects within a limited amount of time to beat your opponents. About The Pictureka Game Keeping score in Pictureka is a simple task, the winner of a game is the player who has the most cards at the end of the agreed-upon rounds. For the red cards, everyone should have individual tiles and work alone to find the images on the cards.

Board game to iPhone conversions have given us some of the best games the portable platform has seen, like Carcassone and Catan. Combining the tried and tested gameplay of board games with the portability and solo options of the iPhone make for good times. Conversely, hidden object games are a big hit with the casual PC crowd. Sitting directly at the intersection of hidden object and board game sits today’s title… Pictureka! Cheating may be a bit extreme, but to keep a lighthearted tone include those who are also mistaken as well. This card requires the player to find all of the listed objects before the included timer runs out. Since Hasbro took over the brand, they have introduced more editions, such as jigsaw puzzles, the Pictureka Flipper Game, a Pictureka Card Game, and a travel edition of the original Pictureka game. They are fabulous for keeping the kids entertained during a family vacation. Here are a few things that you should set in place before you start the game. This avoids confusion halfway through gameplay. If a player shouts at ‘Pictureka’ and then fails to point out where the mission objective is, this would be a good example of a player ‘cheating’. The other players decide you - you could lose a card... or maybe you have to howl like a dog or perform an "I'm So Sorry" dance. This version involves using the die, but aside from that, the games aren’t all that different. You will notice that the numbers on the dice are colored, relating to the Mission Cards. In this version, the players roll the die to decide the color of the cards they will play. The most important part of Pictureka is the missions that are on each card. Players complete these to progress the game.

Arrange the 9 Game Tiles into a grid that is 3×3. Once done, sort the cards into the three color groups and ensure that you shuffle these. Whoever successfully completes their mission keeps the card, and the player to the left takes their turn. Mix together the red and green cards from both games and shuffle one red pile and one green pile. Put them face down on the table. Whoever wins the mission keeps the card and your turn is over. The player to your left takes their turn.Main Objective: Pictureka is a game that requires players to spot specific pictures as fast as they can. So let’s look at what you’ll need to play Pictureka, what the cards mean, and learn how to play by the rules. What You’ll Need?
