With one notable exception, the overall gameplay is largely the same as last year in MotoGP 23. That's not a criticism, though, as MotoGP 23 is comfortably one of the best bike games in terms of both handling and graphics on the market.

Career mode has some other new features, too. A new progression system presents Turning Points, which are major milestones on your career that can potentially change its direction. And when you do finally start to compete in MotoGP, you’ll find that you can now take part in Sprint Races, which spice up the racing action somewhat. Overall, it’s undoubtedly the best career mode in a MotoGP game yet. While we don't see much of the game here, there is one big feature getting shown off which is dynamic weather. This will bring a whole new sense of realism to the game, and create flag-to-flag races where riders can return to the pits and switch bikes. The biggest addition to the gameplay for MotoGP 23 is easily the dynamic weather. A lot of racing games have had this for a long time, but this is the first MotoGP game to feature dynamic weather. The dynamic weather is an excellent feature in MotoGP 23. You might start a race with the weather being a touch overcast or even sunny, and after a couple of laps the heavens will open and you’ll be forced to change how you race. With rain pouring down onto the tarmac, it’s easier to lose control. In one of my races in the Career mode, I had the red flags stop the race due to dangerous driving conditions. While it was frustrating as I’d fought hard to take the lead, I like how the real-life elements show themselves.
