Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. Illustrations: Cute and detailed, definitely made the story feel last a little longer as I lingered in them. Somehow having a character resembling a moth but making it so cute and lovely, makes this such a lovely read, and it’s definitely a book me and my family will enjoy sharing again! So, when the moon is high, she collects as many shimmering beams of light she can find - a twinkle from a star, the glow from a lamp post.

You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods. She has critter friends in the night forest that she cavorts with but they are sad she is not able to see the light of day. It is so important to kindle our own inner flame so that we can be more kind, more giving and able to share our light even more. It would be a nice addition to most storytime collections in that it has a repeating verse to encourage participation from attendees.Through this sharing she makes several good friends that want to give her her greatest wish: to see the sunrise. I am sure many children will enjoy this book, it’s the sort of picture book I would have adored as a child, due to both the lovely story and the beautiful pictures. You guys are such a force for good and I am a passionate supporter of Indie booksellers, so I'm so happy this worked out well (I'd love to know how many books were sold if you have it to hand - it felt like quite a lot! One night, they got their friends together and created a den of darkness so that she could watch the sunrise without the light ruining her wings.

I love the concept of this story Ella uses her night light to give others Hope and she helps them out with their problems. Adorable in both story and illustrations, Ella's Night Lights tells the tale of a tiny fairy-like girl who comes out at night to gather light and share it with those in need. Ella and all the creatures look so cute and I love how so many of the animals seen earlier on in some of the pages appear again as the story continues.I would use this book to teach students how a little bit of kindness towards others can go a long ways. The story in this book is really lovely, it teaches important lessons like friendship, helping others in need, being helpful and sharing our heart and lights with others. Also, I can teach kids to treat others the way you want to be treated because in the end all of Ellas friends get together and help her with her dream.
