Mine has seen moderate hobby use since I bought it, may have been abused a bit by the original owner. This doesn't look refurbished just used and they took a quick inventory and through in what they thought was missing. It may be that Bosch corrected the issues with bit wander mentioned previously, but I've had no such issue.

on April 08, 2017, 11:35 AM Might seem like a crazy question but will the Bosch FSN OFA router adapter plate fit the Festool rails and does the detent pin line up with the holes in the Festool rail?At 2 1/4 horsepower, it has plenty of power to chew through just about any type of hardwood you could use. I'm only telling you about the Milwaukee and other Bosch unit because I owned and still own the Milwaukee. Some big bits won't fit in a base that accommodates the PC bushings but your usage might not require that. It also has a myriad of special function accessories available and featuresc compatibility with Festool and several other brands of track-saw tracks.

So I have been using the Dewalt router, and I must admit I am not very happy with it for a couple of reasons. So, I try to include the reasons I have come to a certain opinion or the "whys" it will or will not work, because otherwise, it's just unfounded blather. Reading the normal stuff is confusing because of the contrasting answers and comments for people looking for lifts for their 1617.The plunge base has an easy to reach lock that allows user to keep both hands on the router and minimize mistakes.
