About this deal

Ah yeah, I think the hardware only supports 2 simultaneous outputs :( I never got all 3 to work at the same time. This will mean having one adapter connected to the docking station and an additional adapter directly to the laptop. Please do not use the `Remember me` option if using a computer with public access or that is used by more than one person.

When you connect the laptop to the docking station, you can gain access to all your peripherals such as the mouse, keyboard, stereo speakers, external hard drive, and large-screen displays without having to plug each one into the laptop. For full product description, please read the Insurance Product Information Document (IPID) and policy terms by following the links provided. Just wanted to leave this here for folks who are looking for a docking solution to get multiple monitors on M1 hardware since I found a LOT of conflicting info when I was looking earlier this year.Dell Universal Dock D6000 supports up to 3 displays when connected to your PC using the Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C cable and up to 2 displays using the USB 3. To be fair, this unit doesn't get as warm as the Dell unit does (neither get hot, but the Dell does get a bit warm to the touch). Refer to the Dell knowledge-base article How to configure Intel PROSet to disable Intel Wireless when PC is connected Via Ethernet network connection for Intel Cards. The Dell D6000 has less flexibility with the accepted video cables with 1xHDMI and 2xDisplayPort whereas this Plugable dock provides much more flexibility to use the cables you have.

For more information on MAPT, refer to the Dell knowledge-base article What is MAC Address pass through? Our Connectivities are designed to suit your needs and give you complete control, no matter of weather. However, Dell provides a 1-year standard warranty which will cover the Dock and cable (if purchased as a tied laptop accessory, the Dell Universal Dock D6000 will share the system warranty). There aren't any adapters in the box, so if both of your monitors use HDMI or if you're using an older monitor with DVI or VGA ports (in which case, I'm sorry, I feel your pain), you'll need to go out and get an adapter. NOTE: Dell Universal Dock (D6000series) supports up to 3 displays when connected to your PC using the Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C cable and up to 2 displays using the USB 3.

The compression is utilizing the CPU process power but not using the discrete GFx card power for video processing. Plugable USB-C Triple Display Dock, which also supports three monitors over USB Type-C, though only one will output at 4K. Refer to the Display Resolution Table below for more details about the supported resolution when connecting multiple monitors to the docking station. For docks using DisplayLink, like the D6000 series, not all functions will work outside of the operating system or BIOS.
