Sandtex’s wood and metal paints can both enhance and protect your home for extended periods of time. Where green mould, lichens and moss have taken hold, spray or sponge thoroughly with Kingfisher "Bio Wash" to kill off the visible "green stuff" and also the invisible roots and spores which are embedded in the substrate.

With special moisture protection and extra deep colouring, our exterior masonry paints stand up to the British weather for years to come. Carefully examine the mortar joints for signs of decay and rake out any crumbly areas and re-point adding Kingfisher "Pointing Solution" to the mix for waterproofing, flexibility and adhesion. Generally, it is not recommended to use masonry paint indoors, as it may not be suitable for interior surfaces and may not adhere properly to indoor materials like plaster or drywall.

For optimal application, it is recommended that you do not apply in temperatures below 8 degrees, and where there is an immediate risk of rain.
