Opportunities to volunteer
TS values the involvement of volunteers.
Could you help someone with sight loss?
Many of the services TS provides, such as befriending, escort/guiding, the walking group, odd jobs and social activities rely on the help of volunteers.
Volunteers can put as much, or as little time into the roles as they wish and the operation of the scheme is very flexible.
References and a Criminal Record Bureau check will be required and expenses can be reimbursed.
Give the Community Support Project staff a call on 0161 343 4090/6903, or e-mail them to discuss the opportunities available.
